These scrunchies are hand sewn (by Jo) with botanically dyed silk fabric. Not only are they beautiful and better for the environment, silk is a great option for healthier hair as it does not snag and helps hair retain moisture, which promotes hair growth while reducing dryness.

Madder root colors the silk red and a combo of coreopsis, marigold and cosmos create the rich yellow. The blue scrunchies are made from reclaimed silk (from a silk top) and dyed with fresh indigo leaf. From my garden, in the heat of summer. It was very early in the morning…..but still so hot.
